Father Nature Landscape Maintenance started in 1989 as a maintenance service for lawns and landscapes, however, after years of seeing over grown landscape beds from improper plant selection and poor planting techniques, we made it our mission to offer landscaping designed with the ease of maintenance in mind. All shrubs will need trimmed at some time and if you can't even get into the landscaping bed to trim them without stepping on another plant or flower, then it kind of defeats the purpose of having nice landscaping!

We offer affordable residental and commercial landscaping, lawn maintenance,  full service maintenance contracts, Hardscapes, landscape downsizing, sealing of paver patios and asphalt, snow plowing and salting services, as well as seasonal decorations. Time sensitive landscaping, and event planning.

Who We Are: Owner/Operator Rich Holst

Rich has over 31 years of experience in the lawn and landscape industry. Having worked four years for one of the top landscape/nursery companies in the indianapolis, and Johnson co. areas. He left in 1988 to pursue his own business with a pick-up truck and one lawn mower, he worked that summer cutting lawns, trimming bushes, and doing weed maintenance for some well known southside businesses such as Beck Toyota, Bobs Master Lock, Sherwin Williams, The Sizzler restaurant, Furrows, Glenn Earls, Tomlin Realty, and others. At the end of that summer he had quite a profit, and despite the terrible drought of that same year, he was not discouraged, and in 1989 he officially started Father Nature Landscape Maintenance. His business offers a quality service with affordable pricing, with a strong work ethic, and integrity. Rich is proud to boast, that he has customers that have employed him for the entire 28 years of his business. He believes, that this earth was created by God, and it is his honor and duty to care for it!
